The NMC is here to support you and your family as you plan the next challenging and exciting phase of your life – adulthood.
There are many exciting ways to develop your independence, learn new skills and have memorable experiences. NMC Bushcraft sessions offer opportunities to challenge yourself and work in a team. You’ll discover qualities you didn’t know you had, preparing fires for outdoor cooking, making habitats for birds and insects in the meadow or testing your powers of observations pond dipping.
The NMC offers the Duke of Edinburgh scheme for those aged 14-24 years to achieve this amazing award.
We hold regular transition days at the NMC where you can meet other young people and share experiences. Choose any topic and someone will have information, whether it’s about learning to drive, how to write your personal statement, choosing a personal assistant or the most accessible concert venues.
